The Shire of Silfren Mere would like to Welcome you to our Official website!

Our site contains the Shire’s History, a brief introduction of our Members, information about our meetings, events, practices and much more!

There are a wide variety of activities you can participate in with in The Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. (SCA) , ranging from archery, fighting, dancing, fencing, woodworking, cooking, calligraphy, leatherworking, armoring, singing, music, to politics. If they practiced it in the Middle Ages, there is probably someone doing it in the SCA.

Are you a newcomer to the SCA? You may want to check out the SCA.org website and read up on the Resources and Information for Newcomers to get an idea on what we are all about and then come join us at any event or meeting to learn more about the Society and our Shire!

Our Shire Chatelaine is the best person to ask any questions that you may have about the Society or our Shire. The Chatelaine Officer is responsible for helping newcomers to the SCA. If you would like aditional information please contact our Chatelaine.
